Everyone is invited to be a part of a fun community event at St Francis College:
- the SAINT FRANCIS FESTIVAL!
Centred around the themes of Spirituality, Environment and Creativity, this is a fun community building event which celebrates the spirit of St Francis and brings people together!
Highlights of the day:
Spirituality workshops (Meditation, Labyrinth walk, Prayer Spaces)
Environment workshops (Compositing, Propagation, Eco spirituality)
Creative workshops (Sacred Art, Romero Centre artworks, mainly music)
Fabulous Food (Devonshire teas, BBQ Lunch, Coffee and Cake)
Local Creative Stalls (Craft, Cake, Plants, Art)
Fun for all ages (Kids art activities, Face Painting, Music)
And of course, the Blessing of Pets
We would love to see parishes promoting the event and encouraging groups to come and experience the hospitality and spirit of St Francis College. Bringing Anglicans together on our beautiful campus is a gift we can share and invite the wider community to join in with!
In addition, enterprising parishes could use this as a creative opportunity for fundraising, by holding a cake, plant or craft stall at the event. Many parishes have craft groups, cake bakers, plant gurus and musicians who could come along to make this festival a richer and more vibrant!
All stall holders can keep all proceeds of their stall! Other details provided on application!
