The Graduate Certificate in Divinity allows students to explore areas of interest in divinity and its associated disciplines. It serves as an introduction to the broad field of study of theology or philosophy and disciplines which are associated with them.

Course Highlights
You'll be introduced to four main sub-disciplines of theology: Biblical studies, church history, systematic and practical theology subjects. You'll also have the opportunity to choose elective subjects within these disciplines to tailor your studies to meet your interests.

The skills and attributes you gain in the Graduate Certificate in Divinity are valued in a broad range of careers. Graduates may proceed to a Graduate Diploma or Masters’ degree by coursework.



ADMISSION CRITERIA
Successful completion of an undergraduate degree, or an approved equivalent.
Satisfactory completion of 3 units
Graduation
Graduates of the Graduate Certificate in Divinity
have knowledge of key concepts in one or more areas of divinity and associated disciplines
have basic research, analysis and communication skills applicable to postgraduate study
apply skills of interpretation to texts or concepts.

The Graduate Certificate in Divinity requires completion of 3 standard postgraduate units. Fees for 2025 are $3,268 per unit or $9,804 for a full-time semester (3 units).
